In the old days, long cow horns served as primal natural wind instruments and powerful acoustic signaling devices across global pastoral cultures. Crafted by sawing off the tip of a hollow cattle horn to form a mouthpiece, they were blown using lip vibrations (buzzing) to produce loud, carrying tones.
